  My contract is up and thank God! I totally hated this phone and T-Mobile service plan. The phone is horrible, can't hear unless there is absolute quite, and that crazy t-mobile tune that comes on loud & clear when you turn the phone on or off, drove me nuts, not to mention while I was at a funeral trying to turn it off or at a quite movie theater... Can't get reception in Port Hueneme area and having lots of problems with the voice mail, I've call customer service twice, and so far no good, I'm looking into Verizon

  This plan has been great for local use...no complaints...rarely a dropped call...however, having gone to LA and driving throughout Florida, unless you are in a major metro area or on the interstate, there are lots of dead spots. The nice thing is that you either get the call or you don't. Great personal phone, but probably not the best for a traveling businessperson.

  I was a long-term Verizon customer who switched to T-Mobile because they offered the 5,000 minutes for $130. I paid $150 for my phone which has not worked right since I got it. They do not have any walk in service and the in-store sales people are only trained to 'sell'...they will give you an 1-800 number to call for any problems...they will also offer to let you use one of their phones right in the store so they can stand around and laugh at the abuse one receives when calling 'customer' service. I have to admit, at this point, it REALLY is funny! My favorite experience occured about 2-weeks ago when I was in Savannah. My phone died (for the 3rd time) and I went to the local T-mobile store to get a loaner phone. The clerks told me that only the manager could do this and she was out for a week. I wonder what would happen if the fire alarms went off...suppose they would let the building burn since the manager was out for a week? I'm paying the $200 term fee to get rid of these jokers. I'm going back to Verizon, even though it will cost me about $30 more per month for comparable service. Cheers!
